Current Projects of ECOLO Japan

　5-Years-Project (2005-2009) for Sustainable Japan


　1) Obtain new skilled staffs and members through holding opened seminars and workshops,
　　　 inviting many specialists and activists from NGOs, think tanks, university scholars and
　　　 graduates,etc.

　2) Complete "GREEN MANIFESTO for Sustainable Society" by summerizing latest research
　　　 study all over the world in the field of ecology and environment, sustainable development.　

　3) Aquire as many supporters as possible by way of holding various regional seminars, lectures,
　　　some other events with regional citizen and school pupils.

　4) Aquire enough funds to manage our various campaign and develop the organization through
　　　new enterprise in cooperation with "ecologically-friendly" companies and specialists.

　5) Publish special books and manazines in terms of ecological policies and politics in the world,
　　　focusing on Greens activities worldwide.

　6) Build a new network of ecological specialists within and outside the country in terms of policy-
　　　making and legislative process (including lobbying activities) for sustainable and ecological society

　7) Support candidating our own members for the coming national election to get some seats in the
　　　national Parliament(Diet), strongly promoting realization of some crucial policies of ecology.　

　8) Exchange information with Green Parties, related groups and Green organization worldwide and
　　　help each other with holding common events, conference, promote mutual development of
　　　organization.
