ECOLO Japan starts 2008 Campaign for Energy Efficiency

　　　　　　ECOLO Japan planned a series of great campaign for the next year 2008.
　　　　　　where regional camapaign for energy efficiency is included.
　　　　　　The chairperson says, "in this campaign we try to call for the target that
　　　　　　CO2 emissions in the capital area of Tokyo should be reduced 30 percent
　　　　　　by 1990 level, within a few years..

　　 　　　 In particular, in the capital areas and big cities in Japan are CO2 emissions
　　　　　　always increasing for decades, above all for housing and office sectors.
　　　　　　In order to solve the problem, ECOLO will be strongly campaigning around
　　　　　　the areas to call residents and office managers for reducing daily emissions.
　　　　　
　　　　　　Apart from this, ECOLO Japan will be ready to support their own candidates
　　　　　　for the next national election of Lower House. One executive leader of ECOLO
　　　　　　announced that he should be a coming Green national candidate and start
　　　　　　election campaign in the capital area as well. 　
　　　　　　He will call the government for promoting environmental policy and introducing
　　　　　　more democratic system in the Parliament.
　　　　　　　　
　　　　　　ECOLO Japan will gain their supporters, staffs and candidates all over Japan,
